Easy Apple Crisp
Ingredients
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 pounds apples, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Topping
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
Directions
Toss apples with lemon juice, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Lightly grease a 6-cup baking dish, and arrange the apple mixture in the dish. Combine topping ingredients, blending until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle topping evenly over apples. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. |
